Artist's Statement: Collage, oils, watercolor, acylics, pencils, letterpress, typography, photography - I enjoy so many different artistic media and forms of expression, it's hard to pick my favorite. Maybe that's why I am so enamored of Artists Books.  The myriad of possibilities in the book form makes a broad canvas for exploring the questions and celebrations that drive my art: parenthood, family, poets and other people at the margins, woman's history, and so much more. My practice allows me to embrace the ranges of tragedy and whimsy and color and texture in equal measure.  I hope you enjoy these samples of my work as much as I enjoyed creating them.
